Daguerrelab is run by a working videographer with twenty-plus years of wedding and bar/bat mitzvah experience. We build the tools we wish existed during all those late-night edits. Every design decision passes through the eye of someone who has actually delivered the work.

Daguerrelab is a working studio, not a startup. There's no marketing department, no growth team, no product manager. Every product is designed, built, and supported personally by the founder.

This means we move differently than venture-backed software companies. Smaller. Quieter. More careful. When you email with a question, the founder answers. When you find a bug, the founder fixes it. When you suggest a feature, the founder decides — based on whether real working videographers and photographers would benefit, not whether it grows the user base.

We think this is a feature, not a bug.
